Northamptonshire Home Energy Efficiency Partnership

Client

The NHEEP Consortium is made up of 6 Local Authorities in Northamptonshire (Daventry, Corby, Kettering, Wellingborough, South Northants, Northampton)

Objective

Improving energy efficiency within vulnerable households throughout the Northants area by installing energy efficiency measures (primarily renewable technologies such as Solar PV and Thermal) in privately owned homes. All installations were fully
funded by NHEEP.

System details

Due to the nature of retro-fit, every installation had different requirements. The average installation was:

Solar Thermal – 2 panel 210ltr twin-coil cylinder (Genersys panels) Solar PV – 8 panels – 1.48kWp system (Mitsubishi 185 modules, Fronius inverters)

Installation Process

Rockwarm offered a complete bespoke solution, for each retro-fit homeowner. From initial site survey, to arranging scaffolding, the installation process all the way through to commissioning and handover for the Solar system were all completed by Rockwarm.

Results

Rockwarm have successfully installed Solar technologies in 74 NHEEP funded homes to date. The scheme is still running.
